Julie Fischer McCarter is the founder and primary photographer at shoot photo inc, an award-winning photographic studio in the Washington DC area.

Creative portraits, artful wedding photography, photojournalism and modern corporate image making is Julie’s lifework.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Julie’s passion for photography was nurtured since was a teen. In her twenties, Julie studied photography at the Academy of Art in San Francisco where her professional life as a photographer took off.

Julie lives in northern Virginia with her husband Aaron and their dog Charlie.
